“Herring, who has shown her work in New York City, in her native Chicago and in Istanbul, said that the two back-to-back shows will be followed in September by a show of Brooklyn artists. It will be curated by Meir Gal, a Brooklyn resident, professor at SVA and artist who was born and raised in Israel. Herring said the show will have a conceptual bent and will be one in a series curated by Gal.”
