WARREN LEWIS ALLEN
I wonder at times, at no benefit to my anxieties, if people confuse chaos with grace; if people are more comfortable with fear and anxiety than they realize and that the real fear is compromise and that as adults to gain something is to lose something else, possibly and probably precious. If people think in that sort of way. I wonder what someone would think if things were turned around and their obligation would no longer be connected to that sort of thing they thought was grace in society. Would their fear they mastered for so long be in vain? Would it free people to realize that sort of thing or would their security still be arresting? I wonder if people would love or care any less with that kind of thing missing, if anyone would think they were different or the same as anyone else.
